Ingredients

  • 500g Tempo Quarg
  • 120g Butter (room temp.)
  • 2 egg, (room temp.)
  • 1 cup Fresh cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
  • 4 cups plain flour
  • ¾ cup white sugar
  • 6 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 200°c. Lightly grease 12 muffin cups or use patty cups.
  2. Beat the Quarg and butter together until fluffy.
  3. Beat the egg, cream and vanilla together, and add it to the Quarg and butter.
  4. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt, and then sift it into the mixture until flour is moistened.
  5. Add the chocolate chips.
  6. Fill the muffin cups with the mixture 3/4 full. Bake until tops are golden
